G-Power are putting their impressive tuning skills to work and after the fastest sedan in the world, the BMW M5, they worked their magic on the BMW X5. The results? 525 horsepower and a top speed of 170 mph(275 km/h).

This all-bike drive "brute" runs from 0-62 in six.2 seconds, nigh a second improvement from the regular 4.8i X5.

If nether the hood upgrades are quite impressive, G-Power surprised us with an aerodynamic and pretty good looking exterior kit. The front larger air intakes remind us of the upcoming BMW X5 Thousand, just they were plainly designed with better engine cooling in heed.

G-Power TYPHOON Based on BMW X5 – Wide, Powerful and Fast

525-hp Compressor V8 Engine and 275-km/h Summit Speed – G-POWER Builds the Most Powerful BMW SUV

The G-POWER Typhoon has arrived! With its scenic broad-stance styling, its 525-hp / 386-kW G-POWER SK III eight-cylinder supercharged engine and a summit speed of 275 km/h the SUV based on the BMW X5 (E70) sets new standards in its class.

Muscular fender flares and strikingly styled aprons and spoilers forepart and dorsum, all designed for maximum aerodynamic efficiency, dominate the appearance of the G-POWER TYPHOON. The body conversion components and the tools to brand them were developed by the Thou-Power designers using the latest CAD technologies. The unabridged base machine was scanned in-house using a 3D scanner. The TYPHOON components are manufactured in OEM quality from PUR-R-Rim plastics.

The curved M-POWER fender flares on front end and rear beam come up complete with matching fender liners and add seven centimeters to the width of the X5. They create the space necessary for actress-wide wheels and tires. The largest version features G-POWER Silverstone Forged Edition wheels in size 11Jx23 in forepart and in size 12Jx23 on the rear axle. These wheels were custom-developed for the Typhoon. High-performance tires in size 315/25 ZR 23 front end and dorsum from evolution partner Michelin provide optimal traction and sporty treatment.

The G-Power Typhoon front apron dominates the confront of the exclusive SUV aided by the wider fenders. An ASA T1-521 hd supercharger with centrifugal clutch is flanged to the engine using a CNC-milled high-strength mount. The compressor is driven past the crankshaft via a cogged belt.
